A couple announced their upcoming wedding after Quaker meeting one week. It turned out, their calligrapher had bowed out. The wedding was just a few weeks away, but I fit them in. They requested rowan leaves and berries and hazelnut leaves.
A year later, another woman in that meeting was the mother of a groom. He asked for the same motif.
This couple wrote their own promises rather than use the traditional ones.
A bit of shading in the leaves can make a big difference to the final look.
